For me, it’s going for a run along the Venetian Causeway. When I was living in Miami, I lived a block away from it, and it’s this awesome tiny strip connecting the mainland to South Beach. I would run alongside the ocean for miles.

These days I enjoy exploring the art in Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Every year they have different artists, like Yayoi Kusama and Dale Chihuly, create installations for the grounds, and they are always incredible!

BEST-KEPT SECRET IN MIAMI
Honestly, never overlook the Everglades! I feel like there are so many locals who have never visited or been on an airboat and don’t even realize how awesome they are. Back in the day, I probably would have said this old squatter fisherman shack on Virginia Key that was taken over by the city years ago. It was this place called Jimbo’s that sold smoked fish and cans of beer. You could always find people from all walks of life and play bocce ball right on the water.
