FAVORITE SPOT TO FIND INSPIRATION
I love going to the Everglades National Park. It’s a subtropical wilderness area that spans south Florida with an entrance in Miami. Its landscape is unparalleled, full of marshes, mangroves, and wetlands and home to exotic and endangered species like the manatee, crocodiles, and even panthers.
BEST OFF-THE-BEATEN-PATH PLACE TO SEE ART
Homestead Center for the Arts is an umbrella organization for local arts and community groups, spanning the visual arts, music, dance, theater, history, and so much more! The center is built on members who all have a passion for the arts and sharing creative knowledge.
BEST-KEPT SECRET IN MIAMI
La Habana Vieja is one of the best restaurants for good Cuban food and music. It’s basically a flashback of Havana in the 1950s. This is always my first stop with any guest visiting Miami for the first time. They have the best ham croquetas!
