FAVORITE SPOT TO FIND INSPIRATION
When I conceived Studio Venezia for the French Pavilion at the Art Biennale 2017, I took it upon myself to welcome each of the more than 200 musicians that came to record their work in Venice. For seven months I got to live in an apartment in the Castello quarter and experience Venice as a temporary home. What I enjoyed doing, above all, was simply walking through the small streets alongside the canals at night and stumbling upon forgotten squares and churches and hidden restaurants.”
